Note that this is different from the [[mc>Item_modifier#function_set_damage|minecraft:set_damage]] item modifier, as this actually breaks the item stack once fully damaged and takes into account preserved items and the [[mc>Unbreaking]] enchantment. It also calls the [[mc>Advancement/JSON_format#minecraft:item_durability_changed|minecraft:item_durability_changed]] advancement trigger.
