The minecraft:spawn_egg item component allows this item to spawn an offspring by using it on the entity type specified in the minecraft:entity item component. It also allows a player to change the entity in a Spawner. This item component has no fields, and therefore always looks like {}. It is usually combined with minecraft:entity.
